When Eric Idle constructed a wacky spoof of The Beatles, dubbed them "The Rutles," and made a hilarious mockumentary in 1978 named ALL YOU NEED IS CASH, he spawned a huge cult of eager worshipers who longed to hear more from Dirk (Idle), Nasty (Neil Innes), Stig (Ricky Fataar), and Barry (John Halsey). In 2002 The Pre-Fab Four reunited, toured America, and invited trusted interviewer Dirk McQuickly (Idle again) on the road with them.
