Pete and Lanny want to become stars in the "Gangster Rap" music world. Because they're white kids who have been raised in suburbia, they know nothing about the ghetto that fuels gangster rap. They also lack the ten thousand dollars required to produce their debut album. And so they try two kill birds with one stone by heading out on an all-night crime spree in an attempt to satisfy their artistic and financial goals.
